Board of Supervisors

The board of supervisors is the legislative and executive body of county government and also serves as the governing body of the Nevada County Sanitation District No. 1 and the Nevada County Housing Authority.

Supervisorial Districts

Nevada County is divided into five districts, each representing an equal number of residents. A supervisor is elected to represent each district, and the five supervisors comprise the board of supervisors.
