Gina Will is your Auditor-Controller. She has over 27 years of accounting and management experience. She served as the Assistant Auditor-Controller for 2 ½ years before being appointed by the Board of Supervisors to the position of Auditor-Controller in January 2023.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, completes annual continuing education, and passed the Certified Public Accountant exam. Gina was the Finance Director for the Town of Paradise for twelve years, assisting the agency with their financial recovery plan from the Great Recession and the Camp Fire. She was the CFO for an education consulting and lobbying firm for 13 years. Gina is an active member of various professional groups including the State Association of County Auditors, the Association of Governmental Accountants, the Government Finance Officers Association, and formerly the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers.
Gina and her husband, Randy have been married for 22 years. They relocated to Nevada County from Paradise in 2020. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. They enjoy many outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and biking.
