As the state of California prepares to end the COVID-19 state of emergency at the end of February, it has begun closing state funded testing sites across California.
The OptumServe testing site located at 231 Colfax Avenue in Grass Valley will remain open through Friday February 24th (weather permitting) and then will close permanently. The eastern county test site in Truckee was closed January 19th 2023.
Residents are encouraged to contact their primary care physicians for testing resources, treatment options, and vaccinations.
