The Nevada County Community Library is hosting a celebration on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the dedication of the Madelyn Helling County Library. The celebration will be held all day from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm throughout the public spaces at the Madelyn Helling Library. Library patrons of all ages are invited to drop by for a treat and to sign a card to this beloved community space! The library will be decorated for the occasion and will have special coloring pages available for all ages.
This Wednesday’s PAWS to Read will feature a special celebration as well! Participants can enjoy some cake while reading to a trained therapy dog! Prereaders, early readers, and independent readers are invited to read (or show pictures to) to our friendly and non-judgmental dogs.
