The Madelyn Helling Library has a new PC reservation system called Envisionware, a new printer and a new system for printing documents and scanning.
Library patrons can reserve a PC the day of their visit through the Envisionware print release computer, or simply sit down at any available PC and log in. Available PCs are identified with a green "available" notice on the screen. With Envisionware, patrons are given two 1-hour sessions of computer time on the Madelyn Helling Library desktop computers. The library also has MacBooks and Chromebooks available for in-library checkout.
Mobile printing is now available with PrinterOn. Patrons can even print from mobile devices via the PrinterOn App or via email with documents attached. On any computer, in any browser, simply navigate to www.printeron.net/nccl/madelyn-helling-main, enter an email address, and upload desired documents. Patrons can even print from mobile devices via the PrinterOn App or via email with documents attached to nccl-madelyn-helling-main-bw@printspots.com and print at the print release station with their email address. For a limited time, patrons will be able to print in both black and white and color for only $0.15
The Madelyn Helling Library is also now offering free document scanning through the print release station. Patrons are required to bring their own personal flash drive, which they will scan to and then send the document out via email. To scan, patrons must first open the copy/scanner by depositing $0.15 cents into the print vending device. After scanning is complete, the vending device will refund the deposited money.
