The Community Development Agency (CDA) permit fee increase will take effect on Sept. 1, 2024. On June 18, the Board of Supervisors adopted the annual County Consolidated Fee Ordinance, which increased all CDA fees by an average of 0.35% to 5.13%. While many departments require a fee increase more than Consumer Price Index, this strategy aims to minimize the impact on consumers while still bringing the fees closer to the fees indicated by the current fee study. See CDA Fee Schedules for current and new rates taking effect Sept. 1.
