Lunch at the Library begins Monday, June 12th at Penn Valley and Bear River Library locations! Lunch will be offered Monday through Friday from 12 pm to 1 pm through August 11th.
Free lunches at the library for children and teens 18 years and under. You do not need to sign-up, show identification, or have a library card. Lunch will be served on a first come, first served basis. The library offers these healthy meals in partnership with the Food Bank of Nevada County through the USDA Summer Food Service Program. We hope you will come for healthy lunches, summer reading, and free activities to help young minds and bodies grow and thrive! Grass Valley and Madelyn Helling Libraries will begin offering lunch at the library on Monday, June 19th, provided by the Grass Valley School District.
