On Thursday, December 15th, Michael Genhart joined us for a virtual discussion about his picture book, May Your Life Be Deliciosa, about the Mexican holiday tradition of making tamales. The event was attended by local Nevada County school groups who asked great questions and learned a lot about the process of creating a picture book. May Your Life Be Deliciosa has been turned into a storywalk in Downtown Grass Valley, encouraging participants to visit local businesses while reading each page of the story. Pick up your map of the storywalk at the Grass Valley Library between December 9 - December 27.
