Nevada County Veterans Services Officer David West recently received an Employee Veteran Leadership Award form GI Jobs Magazine. The award honors 27 veterans nationwide who are making a difference.
"I’m so proud of David and his work and the relationships he has built with our local veteran organizations that resulted in this well-deserved recognition," said Nevada County Social Services Director Rachel Roos.
West was nominated for the award by our local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Chapter 2655.
