District 4 has affordable housing for seniors coming online very soon. The Lone Oak Senior Housing Project, located on Broken Oak Court in Penn Valley, will provide 31 new units of needed affordable housing for seniors. The project includes a community garden, covered picnic area, a fenced dog park, covered parking and many green sustainable features.
I recently had the opportunity to tour the apartment complex with County staff and Regional Housing Authority. They are beautiful! I wish you all could have been there, but our photos will have to do for now. I can’t wait to see our seniors moving in! Tenants are already lined up for all apartments and the complex is scheduled to open in June, once all PG&E hookups are complete.
