Victim Services

Probation works closely with the District Attorney and victim support organizations to assist with the financial losses and emotional trauma that can occur as a result of criminal victimization.

Victim Impact Statements & Personal Loss Information

Probation contacts the victims of juvenile and adult offenders to obtain victim impact statements and personal loss information. This information is submitted to the Court for their consideration in the sentencing of the offender and setting restitution to ensure victims receive monetary compensation for their losses.

It is important that you respond promptly to any inquiries from Probation so that the Department can ensure your statements and request for restitution are provided to the Court.
