Rough and Ready Dollar General Elevation Drawing

Project Description

A Development Permit application requesting approval of a 9,100-square-foot Dollar General retail store (DP14-001) with associated parking, lighting and landscaping on a one-acre parcel at 12345 Rough and Ready Highway, Grass Valley, California 95945 (APN 52-122-03). The site is located approximately 0.5 miles east of the intersection of Bitney Springs Road and Rough and Ready Highway, at the corner of Rough and Ready Highway and West Drive. The project includes the demolition of an existing structure on-site and the export of approximately 5,000 cubic yards of soil. The applicant is proposing two encroachments, one from Rough and Ready Highway and another from West Drive, and a parking reduction is requested to reduce parking standard from 46 spaces to 29 spaces. The retail store is proposed to be open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and would employ up to 10 people.
